BA (Hons) Business Management (Marketing) with Foundation Year
The BA (Hons) Business Management (Marketing) with Foundation Year is aimed at students who have an interest in developing a knowledge and understanding of the key aspects of business and marketing management, and in particular, who are looking to pursue a career in this field.
The foundation year is an integral part of the undergraduate business programme. It will provide you with the necessary study skills and knowledge to prepare you for undergraduate study and help you gain a better understanding of the key aspects of business and marketing management. After the successful completion of the foundation year, year 1 will cover the main areas of business management. Years 2 and 3 will explore these themes in more detail along with elective options in marketing.
This course focuses on making you career-ready, offering an excellent grounding in key areas. You will develop skills in research, presentation, critical analysis, problem-solving, team building, and entrepreneurship. Upon completion of the course, you will have gained the essential capabilities needed to be effective within the field of marketing management.
You can choose to study the course at one of our UK campuses in London Bloomsbury, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester or Nottingham.
This course has a real-world focus with learning taking place both in and outside the classroom environment. Learning will be supported by online resources, including the Financial Times, case studies, simulations, learning videos, reading materials, online testing and feedback.

To maximise your employability prospects, you can progress onto a business Master's course at no additional cost on successful completion of your undergraduate degree.
Successful completion of the programme will earn you a Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership from the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), helping you stand out in the job market and get noticed by employers. In addition, you'll receive an exemption from the Chartered Institute of Marketing for the Level 4 Marketing module within the Certificate in Professional Marketing.
32 UCAS points from the equivalent of one A Level or 40 UCAS points from the equivalent of two A Levels
5 GCSEs at A-C (9-4) including English, and Grade D (4) or above in Maths or equivalent qualifications
An English language level equivalent to IELTS 5.5 or above, with a minimum of 5.5 in each component
