With a BCom in Information Management, you can have a career as an Information Manager, Knowledge Manager, Researcher.
- Minimum APS:
- 26 with Mathematics OR
- 28 with Mathematical Literacy
- English: 4 (50%+)
- Mathematics: 4 (50%+)
- Mathematical Literacy: 6 (70%+)
Meeting the Faculty’s minimum requirements for a particular programme does not necessarily guarantee admission to that programme as specific selection criteria may be applied and due to space constraints.
BCom Hons in Information Management
Students develop applied skills in the mastering, analysis, interpreting and applying the characteristics of Information Management, as used in a career or for further studies in the field of Information Management. Students must be able to assess management decisions or applications through the influence of the holistic framework of management.
Acceptable Bachelors degree in NQF Level 7 with appropriate subject knowledge and an average of 65% will allow a student to apply. It is recommended that students who are employed full-time register on a part-time basis.

Registration and Start Dates
Registration starts in January and lectures in February for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate course work programmes.
All research programmes for Masters and PhD can register throughout the year.
End Date: Academic starts in January and ends in December. Programme deadline is determined by the duration of the programme.
