Why study this programme
The BSc (Hons) in Digital Marketing and Social Media programme, created in partnership with the University for the Creative Arts, an institution that has been ranked 13th out of all UK universities in The Guardian League Tables 2020 and ranked 7th in business, marketing and management (The Guardian League Tables 2021).
This programme equips students with skills in marketing and communications, digital marketing analytics, marketing and media planning and social media development. You can choose between the three or four-year International Route. The four-year route will include a foundation year which will help you develop core knowledge of creative business and management. Additionally, you’ll be fully prepared for using English in academic work.

Entry Requirements
Foundation (International Route)
Minimum Age: 17 (titles awarded upon completion of at least 11 years of schooling)
Academic Qualifications: ECCTIS UK equivalent to GCSE
English Language Requirements:
Official English Tests
IELTS – minimum overall score of 5.0 (with min 4.5 in each component);
Password test – minimum overall score of 5.0 (with min 4.5 in each component);
PTE (Academic) – minimum overall score of 46 (with min 41 in each component);
LanguageCert International ESOL SELT overall score of B1 Achiever High Pass;
Duolingo test with an overall score of 95+.
West African Certificates (WAEC AND NECO only) as a stand-alone with a minimum of C6 in English and issued within the last 5 years. Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) is also accepted with an overall grade of C or above. For Tanzania and Cameroon, we request an IELTS (or equivalent certificate).
WAEC/NECO must be enhanced by a successful (50%+) Internal English Assessment if issued more than 5 years ago.
Nationals of a majority English speaking country who have taken their academic qualifications in that country, do not need to sit an English test ( Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, The Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Ireland, Jamaica, Malta, New Zealand, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, UK and USA.
The English Language test can be waived and a Medium of Instruction Letter submitted if:
Applicants have achieved ECCTIS UK recognised High School Certificate, where the medium of instruction was entirely in English (teaching and assessment);
You are a Canadian national who has completed studies at an English-speaking School/College/University.
BSc (Hons)
Minimum age: 18 years old (titles awarded upon completion of at least 12 years of schooling)
Academic qualifications:
A school leaving certificate that allows you to pursue higher education in Germany (e.g. Abitur, Fachhochschulreife, Matura or International Baccalaureate), or International school leaving certificates, or BTEC/National Diploma, or Advanced Vocational Certificate of Education.
If you do not meet the above academic requirements, applicants with professional qualifications and/or 4 or more years of full-time work experience will be considered on an individual basis.
English language requirements:
Official English Tests
IELTS – minimum overall score of 6.0 (with min 5.5 in each component);

TOEFL IBT overall score of 80 (Listening 17, Reading 18, Speaking 20, Writing 17);

High Achievers Scholarship
BSBI’s High Achievers Scholarships give students the opportunity to receive up to 50% scholarship on tuition. This is only available for international students and the entry requirements for the programmes must be met.
