In the Sculpture/Installation program, you will experiment with creating three-dimensional sculpture and installation work. You will learn the skills to create installations – works of art designed for public spaces. You will use the fabrication studios to explore hands-on and digital creation. The program includes studio courses that develop your imagination, critical and technical knowledge. You will also explore the creation and meaning of objects in courses such as contemporary practice and theory. This combination of practice and theory will make you ready to develop your creative research and exhibit your own projects. Your learning will include openness to many diverse cultural perspectives. At the end of this four-year program, you will earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.

In the Material Art & Design program, you will learn how to create jewelry, textiles, and ceramics as a professional studio artist or designer. You’ll focus on making your own designs and will learn the critical and business skills you’ll need to succeed.

Life is three dimensional, and so is your art. In our 3D Studies program, you will study all aspects of three-dimensional media—from traditional practices like sculpture and ceramics to emerging technologies like installation and time-based art.

Metalsmithing & Jewelry can be as freely experimental as any art form. The workshop and studio experiences in this program emphasize design and craftsmanship.

Objective: The Bachelor of Plastic Arts manages the knowledge, understanding, and procedures of his career to solve problems of an artistic and plastic nature, as well as their applications in professional fields where it is required to give a creative proposal of a formal nature.

The Department of Art is committed to nurturing students who are passionate about creating work in a wide variety of disciplines, including painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, animation, and intermedia. A wealth of research demonstrates that studying art at the college level enhances creativity, sharpens critical thinking skills, and prepares students for productive careers in a variety of fields.

The Sculpture area enables students to develop proficiency in various three-dimensional processes, materials, and techniques. Sculpture's emphasis on understanding the world of contemporary expression aims to strengthen and focus each student's sense of personal direction in the arts.

Our goal at New Hope Christian College is to train up Creative Arts students who will discover their unique contributions in presenting the gospel in new and creative ways using the gifts and passions that the Lord has placed within them.

At the heart of University of the Arts' Ceramics program is thinking through making. If you are passionate about working with your hands and engaging with material to create something meaningful, the study of ceramics at University of the Arts is just right for you. As you learn the technical aspects of ceramics, you'll also learn how to process the ideas and concepts associated with the art—a unique balance of analyzing and creating.

As a design student, you’ll develop skills in typography, composition, design process, and visual communication.

Students will be exposed to theories and practices of how to lead a worship ministry in the local church.
