You will work closely with faculty and practicing illustrators in traditional and digital techniques. This program will help you grasp communication art, while also learning the business skills required to work as independent freelancers. The “Advertising illustration” program brings together the four major spheres associated with visual communication: traditional, sequential, digital, and urban illustration. Collège Salette is the only educational institution in Quebec to offer training specifically focused on the profession of illustrator. Through this program, you will receive comprehensive and rigorous training that includes a range of styles, mediums, and techniques to highlight different illustrative concepts. In addition to approaching all facets of creation, communication, and production, you will also learn project management as well as the administrative aspects of your profession as an illustrator.
