Bahçeşehir University’s Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Department aims to educate professionals who have self-confidence, internalize universal knowledge and values, and command modern educational technologies by enriching them with international connections and the advantage of being at the center of Istanbul, a world city which has hosted a multitude of civilizations for centuries.
This course prepares students to become specialists in furniture and object design, from the design of interior spaces, to stage design, the creation of cultural spaces, environments and urban spaces.
The interior designer often works on a pre-existing architectural situation. These may include private houses or apartments, but also collective spaces, such as an airport or school, corporate offices or a fashion boutique.
Our students are trained as experienced interior architects, who design interior spaces applying artistic dimensions and featuring creative, original furniture designs.
