4 Bachelor Programs in Textile Arts 2024

Design, textile materials, and challenging existing textile techniques are in focus of the Bachelor’s programme in Textile Design. With knowledge in textile construction techniques and the latest research in materials and fibres, students can experiment with how these materials could be designed and used in a number of projects.Also, sustainability is a foundational aspect for students in every design project.

BA (Hons) Fashion Textiles: Embroidery focuses on inventive approaches to the development and realisation of contemporary fashion textiles. We believe that technology and skills inform the design process and foster creativity. Students on this specialist embroidery (mixed-media) pathway explore embellishment, surface pattern and texture for fashion materials.

As a design student, you’ll develop skills in typography, composition, design process, and visual communication.
