Program Outcome
What Will You Learn as a Finance Major?
In your first courses, you’ll be able to describe, explain, and integrate fundamental concepts underlying accounting, finance, and economics.
You’ll also begin to apply quantitative skills to help analyze and solve financial problems.
Later, you’ll learn how economic variables impact financial decision-making and how international factors affect U.S. financial markets.
And vital, in-the-field learning will come through an internship as you begin to apply knowledge from classes focusing on corporate finance and the stock, bond, and derivatives markets.
