The Global Governance concentration at the University of New York in Prague allows students to become familiar with the latest trends in international affairs looking at the transformations occurring in an increasingly globalized and connected world. International Relations students studying the Global Governance concentration will learn about the impacts of globalization as they develop skills that will help them to be ready to pursue careers that transform and improve our societies.

The purpose of the BA in Public Management and Governance is to provide qualifying students with substantive, theoretical, and intellectual knowledge, cognitive and research skills such as critical reasoning, data mining, and processing, problem-solving, interpretation, analytical and evaluative skills; communication skills and a normative basis in line with internationally accepted dimensions of “good governance”.

Political Science is the study of political systems and the relationships between individuals, societies, and political institutions. By providing a strong foundation in critical thinking, research, and analytical writing, a Political Science Major prepares students for a number of careers.

Our program is designed as a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Studio Art, rather than a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA), to allow students to combine their passion in Studio Art more easily with major or minor programs in many other disciplines. Currently, in our program, students pair Studio Art with Psychology, French, English, Creative Writing, Theatre Studies, Criminal Justice and Public Policy, Art History, and Philosophy.

The Alaska Native Governance (ANGov) program is meant for future leaders of Alaska. Your study begins with seminars focusing on Alaska Native cultures, histories, and the various governance systems through which Alaska Native experiences are shaped.
