When you study accounting, you learn the nuts and bolts of how a business operates. The Department of Accounting at ECU provides students with a broad overview of significant accounting issues and a detailed examination of internal accounting issues.

The BSBA degree track prepares students for careers in corporate accounting, government accounting, and internal auditing ‒ and it develops an excellent foundation for other areas of the business and graduate studies in topics such as business administration, public administration, and health care management. The Master of Science in Accounting (MSA) program offers a more traditional focus for public accounting careers or advanced placement in industry.
