Acquire the cultural skills to navigate global society
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are international goals for sustainable development adopted by the UN General Assembly in 2015. At EUH, we aim to train young people to contribute to the establishment of integrated solutions to real-world problems while considering the direction of the 17 SDGs and aiming to contribute to the realization of a sustainable world. When examining social issues, we set the SDGs’ 5Ps(Peace, Partnership, People, Prosperity, and Planet)as pillars for studying various interdisciplinary fields.

Fundamental courses
Fundamental courses are categorized into Peace and Partnership in these 5Ps as required subjects for all students.

Program Outcome
Competency Assessment
- Competencies here refer to the abilities to use the knowledge and skills acquired in a specialized field in various areas and situations.
- Through active learning, students at Eikei are encouraged to acquire five competencies (foresight, strategy, global collaboration, energetic drive, and self-improvement) by the time they graduate.
- Each course is assigned a portion of these five competencies.
- In addition to the subject expertise, the course teachers assess the students’ competencies
- (Competency assessment is 20-30% of course assessment).
Diploma Policy
Degree will be conferred to those who have been recognized as obtaining the following competencies (abilities/skills)
Foresight | The ability to discover the core problems caused by changes in society by developing a multifaceted perspective based on broad knowledge, foreseeing the future with a global perspective and conceptual thinking. |
