Introduction
The BA (Hons) in Business with a pathway in Cloud Computing is a three-year full-time program (180 ECTS). This EQF level 6/NFQ level 8 honors degree program is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in business and the knowledge and technical abilities to provide optimal cloud-based solutions to a variety of business scenarios. Each level builds a combination of business and technical skills. Within this pathway, students explore cloud computing deployment and service models and learn how cloud integration affects internal business operations across the organization, including how it impacts business dynamics, contractual obligations, and the risks inherent in operating in the cloud. In addition, students learn database design and gain strong competence in cloud technologies acquiring know-how in design and development using different technologies such as Azure, AWS, and GAE.

Curriculum
The BA (Hons) in Business with a Pathway in Cloud Computing is a six-semester, three-year program (180 ECTS) that is designed with an interdisciplinary focus. Courses comprise formative and summative assessment as well as group work and presentations.
This Pathway provides students with a comprehensive understanding of business and management concepts, as well as specialist knowledge in cloud computing design, database, development, and marketing, and sales.
Program Structure
In the first year of this honors degree course, students will be given a thorough grounding with core courses in management, organization, marketing, finance, IT, and economics as they relate to business. In the second and third years, they will build on this knowledge to gain an advanced understanding of these key areas, as well as acquire specific knowledge and skills relating to the legal framework within which businesses must operate to be compliant. Their studies culminate in a final year capstone research project.
