Introduction
The BA (Hons) in Business (Project Management) is a three-year full-time program (180 ECTS) that is designed to provide a strong grounding in fundamental business concepts, ideas, practices, and methodologies. Throughout this EQF level 6/NFQ level 8 honors program, students will undertake a comprehensive and critical analysis of business organizations, functions, processes, and management techniques. This pathway deals comprehensively with contemporary project management concepts for business whilst exploring the social, organizational, behavioral, and systems issues of project management and the provision of a framework for managing projects.

Curriculum
The BA (Hons) in Business (Project Management) program is a six-semester, three-year program (180 ECTS). Courses comprise formative and summative assessments as well as group work and presentations.
This pathway provides students with a comprehensive understanding of business and management concepts and includes an additional focus on the management of business projects from the initial feasibility of a project idea right through to project completion and closeout.
Program Structure
In the first year of this honors degree course, students will be given a thorough grounding with core courses in management, organization, marketing, finance, IT, and economics as they relate to business. In the second and third years, they will build on this knowledge to gain an advanced understanding of these key areas, as well as acquire specific knowledge and skills relating to project management in specialist courses in this pathway. Their studies culminate in a final year capstone research project.

Knowledge of industry standards and the latest state-of-the-art processes and technology are needed.

Business Development Manager
