Introduction
New products do not come to life by coincidence or spontaneous flashes of inspiration. They require innovation, product & engineering managers who find ideas tailored to customer requirements, evaluate and select them correctly, and support their successful implementation. Their work is the key to success, and their creative minds are therefore in great demand in companies. They work at the interfaces between marketing, design, and technology – turning ideas into successful products.
The program Innovation, Product & Engineering Management is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET.

Curriculum
From the very beginning, you work on real projects and solve the problems of companies. In the process, you learn everything you need to know for your mandatory internship in the sixth semester at a company of your choice. In a team with your future colleagues, you can show what you're made of. And many of our graduates find their first employer this way.
With IPM to your start-up!
You can work on your brilliant idea for six semesters. Our experts and coaches will help you find the perfect business model and build the prototype. And just like in "2 Minutes 2 Million" (Austrian equivalent to Shark Tank), you present your "baby" to a top-class jury and receive valuable feedback.
With IPM you build your first career network!
IPM regularly organizes excursions and field trips to well-known companies, exciting start-ups, up-and-coming coworking spaces, or research institutions. In addition, courses are also held at external locations such as the Startrampe in the Tabakfabrik. This way, you not only see the latest trends but also meet lots of exciting people and build up your career network along the way.
