Over 75% of our teaching staff are entrepreneurs and have a track-record in higher education; students are taught by both subject and field experts, all under the personal guidance of their learning coach.

Incubator

To further maximize our personal approach; we have designed a tailor-made incubator program that facilitates our students in developing skills and gaining knowledge that is specifically relevant for their own business.

Students receive personal coaching by their learning coach and are connected through our global network of startups, corporates and investment funds.

Small scale, massive impact

Global School for Entrepreneurship is a private University, where groups are kept small and innovation of the curriculum is key. The founders all have a unique background in education and entrepreneurship which becomes apparent when you experience how they run their University; they put APPLIED first in University of Applied Sciences.

Europe is your classroom

Teaching in the heart of the startup scene: Global School for Entrepreneurship operates from Amsterdam and has partners in over 100 countries around the world. This means that students are not taught in one school building – they are taught in accelerators all over the world.

Personal approach

We are a private university and we offer a maximized personal approach: every student has a personal learning coach accompanying the student through the entire program. In our incubator, the student is mentored by multiple business coaches.

Entry Requirements

We require evidence that you have passed the standardized examinations for university entrance of your nation of origin. These include but are not limited to:

  • International Baccalaureate Diploma
  • Zeugnis der Allgemeinen Hochschulreife
  • Zeugnis der Fachhochschulreife
  • GCE A/AS-Levels in two subjects plus GCSEs in 4 additional subjects grades A*-C
  • 6 different subjects in total or BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma

To get an indication about the comparison of your educational system to the Dutch system you can go to the Nuffic website. Additional requirements may be applicable.

Additional to having a sufficient diploma of your nation of origin, you are required to be proficient in spoken and written English. Herewith the scores you need for the most common English proficiency tests:

  • IELTS 6.0
  • TOEFL (Paper) 550
  • TOEFL (Online) 80
  • TOEIC Listening & Reading* 670
  • TOEIC Speaking & Writing* 290
  • Cambridge ESOL First (FCE) – Grade B (scale 173 – 175) or First (FCE) – Grade C (scale 169 – 172)

*Provided that the student passed both parts “Speaking & Writing” and “Listening & Reading” with the required scores.

You are exempted from needing proof of your English proficiency if you have completed your secondary education in English.

Admission Process

Besides meeting the entry requirements, all applicants are also invited to for a personal meeting (either in person or through a video call). In doing so, applicants will have another opportunity to learn more about the program.
