Introduction
Is your goal to design, develop and test electrical equipment, such as electric motors for electric vehicle propulsion or power generation and energy storage equipment used in alternate energy systems? Or perhaps complex electronics for robot control, medical devices, radar and navigation systems, and automotive safety systems?
Kettering’s Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering degree will give you the real- world skills to pursue such careers.
Electrical engineers design, develop, test and supervise the manufacture of electrical equipment that spans nearly every industry sector including consumer electronics, automotive systems, aerospace, medical technology, and power generation and utilization.
The median annual wage for electrical engineers was $98,530 in 2019.
Melding hands-on learning with the classroom or laboratory experience, ours is a STEM program like no other in the state of Michigan, the nation or even globally.
The academic portion of the experiential program features small class sizes. The focus is on a broad engineering discipline that integrates mathematical and scientific principles of electricity and magnetism to analyze electrical phenomena and to design electrical systems.
