Introduction
Public health is the population's comprehensive physical, mental, and social well-being. During the study, public health specialists acquire leadership skills. They can analyze the population's or target groups' health status, assess demographic characteristics, identify major health problems, contribute to disease and injury prevention and safety promotion, control outbreaks, and conduct screenings and vaccination programs. They develop, implement, and evaluate health promotion and disease prevention programs, plan and organize healthy lifestyle activities, and organize preventative activities in health care organizations. They promote overall health and well-being in the population they serve.

Career Opportunities
Graduates will acquire a Bachelor’s degree in health sciences. Graduates will be able to work in health departments of municipality administration, public health offices and bureaus, public health centres, health promotion and health program units, primary health care institutions, territorial health insurance funds, specialized care institutions for health risk groups of the population (addiction centres, mental health centres, centres for child care and disabled people), and as public health specialists in educational institutions.
