The areas of knowledge of speech therapy, as a result of advances in research, science, and technology, are increasingly numerous and complex, thus generating the need to create specializations that respond to the demands of the environment. Technological development and the constant changes to which human beings are subjected on a daily basis trigger risk factors that deteriorate their hearing capacity and consequently their way of interacting with their environment.

In this sense, the Specialization in Audiology of the María Cano University Foundation seeks to train specialists who contribute to the promotion of auditory well-being and the prevention of auditory pathologies; an innovative specialist who can establish evaluation, diagnostic and intervention processes, taking into account the latest scientific and technological advances in this field.
