BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN ACCOUNTING Minnesota State University Mankato

The Minnesota State University, Mankato Accounting Program is recognized for its excellence throughout Minnesota and the United States. Graduates of the Accounting Program consistently exceed the national average of first-time pass rate on the uniform CPA examination. The Accounting major is a professional program designed to prepare the student for work in one or more of three areas: public, industrial or governmental not for profit accounting. The department also offers minors in Accounting and Business Law.

The Accounting major qualifies students to make application to take the Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) examinations in Minnesota.
