Business Administration (BA) with a focus on business law - part-time

The part-time course in business administration is an accredited, state-recognized course offered by the University of Wismar, University of Applied Sciences - Technology, Business and Design.

This course is offered at the NBS in two time models, namely full-time during the day and Friday evenings and Saturdays for employed persons and trainees.

Through the development of business law skills, you qualify for advising the management in companies without their own legal department on labor law and contract law issues.

The study content

Through application-oriented teaching, the Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration imparts a broad range of business knowledge and the ability to responsibly identify practical problems in the area of economic and administrative tasks, to work out possible solutions to problems and to critically weigh them up against one another, as well as to successfully use a chosen alternative solution in practice - also internationally context – to implement.

Taking on responsible tasks requires not only specialist knowledge, but also security and the willingness to make decisions. Accordingly, the training is also aimed at imparting key qualifications and promoting personal development.

Admission Requirements

• General higher education entrance qualification or subject-related higher education entrance qualification or technical college entrance qualification
• OR successful participation in a state-certified advanced training course such as master craftsman; state-certified technician; state-certified business economist
• OR by statutory order, in particular §§ alt="18,alt="19 LHG of the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania (entrance test, placement test) or equivalent access authorizations recognized by the responsible state body for this degree program.

Normal period

8 semesters (48 months); Shortening possible with previous studies, vocational training or state-recognized advanced training.

Lecture periods and semester breaks

The winter semester extends from 0alt="1.09. to 3alt="1.0alt="1., the summer semester lasts from 0alt="1.03. up to 3alt="1.07. There are no courses or exams in February and August and from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day.

Lecture times and locations

The lectures take place on workdays during the day in the NBS study center in Quarree and in the NBS study center in Holstenhofweg.

tuition fee

The tuition fees amount to 48 installments of 260 euros per month. In addition, a one-time examination fee of 300 euros is charged for the final examination (total price: alt="12,780 euros).
