Introduction
First-cycle studies in the field of Administration give the opportunity to acquire comprehensive knowledge in the field of social sciences, especially law and administration, as well as basic economic knowledge along with specialist skills supported by professional practice. A graduate of this field of study knows the principles of the legal system in the state, social structures and institutions (political, economic, legal), has knowledge about the relations between these structures and institutions on a national and international scale. Is familiar with the processes taking place in administration, understands the role of administration in the organization of the state and society. Has basic knowledge about man, his place in society, knows his rights, obligations and rules of protection. Has knowledge of administrative law institutions. He knows and understands economic processes, the principles of creating and developing forms of individual entrepreneurship, the specificity of the financial management of the state.
A graduate of Administration is able to solve professional problems, has the ability to communicate with the environment at the workplace, efficiently use the available information and office technology, actively participate in group work and organize and manage small teams. Has language skills in line with the requirements set out for level B2 of the European System for the Description of Languages. The graduate understands the necessity of observing ethical standards in professional work and public activity, is able to cooperate in a group, assuming different roles in it, is ready to spread the acquired knowledge. He is open to problems occurring in the sphere of administration, creatively looks for solutions to perceived problems in the application of law. Demonstrates independent thinking and interpreting phenomena, can also think and act in an entrepreneurial manner. Understands the need for lifelong learning, as well as complementing and improving the acquired knowledge and skills. The graduate is prepared to undertake second-cycle studies.
