Bachelor in Building Environment and Energy Application Engineering

This major passed the education evaluation and re-evaluation of national building environment and energy application engineering in 2007, 2012, and 2017 respectively, and ranked first in the comprehensive evaluation of undergraduate education among colleges and universities in Liaoning. It is the first program with special advantages in Liaoning. It is both a model program and a key program at the provincial level. It is also an experimental program of the teaching mode reform for engineering talents among colleges and universities in Liaoning. The subjects of heat supply, gas supply, ventilation and air conditioning engineering of this major are first-rate characteristic key subjects in Liaoning with the right to confer the master's degree and doctor’s degree. Some teachers are serving as members of the Building Environment and Energy Application Engineering Instruction Committee of National Higher Education. This major aims at developing senior engineering and technical talents who are qualified for the planning, design, construction, installation, equipment debugging, equipment research and development, operation management, scientific research and teaching of HAVC, gas supply, building energy-saving technology, building water supply and drainage, heat supply and new energy utilization in the field of industrial and civil building environment control technology.

After graduation, the students may work in urban construction, urban planning, energy management, municipal engineering construction, environmental protection departments, scientific research institutions, colleges and universities, industrial and mining enterprises, design institutes, constructional engineering installation companies, economic management departments, and government departments, engaged in the planning, design, construction installation, management, consultation, scientific research and teaching of construction environment and energy application engineering.
