Introduction
Nearly everyone works for some sort of organization; by studying for the organizational and strategic communication degree at SBU, you will be prepared for the many facets of working for an organization. You will be equipped to consider how organizations are formed and how strategic communication affects the workings of the organization.
The organizational and strategic communication degree is a career-oriented program and will equip you for a variety of public relations and communications careers in the public, private and nonprofit sectors. Potential career paths include public relations, nonprofit work, social media management, development for nonprofit or corporate sectors, public opinion research, hospitality and tourism, real estate, sales, and more.
