The experience: Training in management, marketing, and accounting
In the Bachelor of Science in business administration program, you'll gain knowledge and experience in business fields including management, marketing, and accounting, making you a well-rounded graduate. The degree will help you develop managerial skills, communication skills, and business decision-making capability through project-based learning, internships, and networking with area business leaders.
Sales Club
The Ketner School of Business has recent alumni working in sales for insurance, consumer products, automotive suppliers, professional and college sports, and entertainment companies. The Trine Professional Sales Club is organized to provide all Trine students interested in developing their communication skills with opportunities to learn about the professional and non-professional sales process. Through presentations from sales professionals, mentoring, and hands-on learning activities, students will develop skills that will help them become more effective communicators in any career field. Participants will also learn about various career opportunities in sales, public relations, and marketing. The club regularly brings sales professionals to campus, and students have the opportunity to network with them and explore careers within their companies.

The degree: Business overview
If you are interested in becoming an entrepreneur, managing a nonprofit, or running a small business, this major is ideal. You will be exposed to many of the roles a business owner or entrepreneur may fill, including financial analyst, marketing director, human resources manager, and accountant. Required internship experience and networking opportunities at Trine will help you narrow your focus to determine where and how you will be most effective. The Ketner School of Business will help you establish business acumen that will serve you well in the industry.
Curriculum
The Bachelor of Science in business administration – business administration program requires 120 credit hours overall, 30 credit hours in accounting, management, and marketing courses, in addition to 35-36 credit hours of business core classes. More than half the student's total coursework toward graduation is in business.
