About
We train professionals capable of designing and supervising technological processes in the food industry, managing and controlling the quality of products throughout the entire food chain, and training and advising on food issues.
If you are interested in learning to
- Apply methods of analysis of food, raw materials and ingredients, assess the health risk associated with a process/food, apply food safety control procedures and implement and manage quality systems.
- Design and supervise technological processes, assess and manage environmental risks and establish process control tools in the food industry.
- Formulate food products that adapt to nutritional recommendations, intervene in health promotion activities contributing to nutritional education of the population and develop epidemiological studies on food.
- Manage collective catering services, propose adequate food programs for the different groups and ensure the quality and food safety of the managed food.
- Interpret and apply legal provisions in the food field, design and carry out commercial research and the marketing plan for a food product and advise companies, groups and associations on food issues

TalentUnileon scholarships are scholarships of excellence aimed at international students who wish to pursue their undergraduate, master's or doctoral studies at the University of León.
International students who have obtained an average grade of at least 8 points out of 10 in their studies prior to their bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree, respectively, will be eligible to benefit from this programme.
Within this call and within the framework of the Collaboration Agreement between the University of León and Santander Universities Spain of Banco Santander SA, this program includes scholarships in each modality that will have additional funding provided by Santander Universities and will be considered TalentUnileon-Santander Universities scholarships.
