BIM (Building Information Modeling) processes are today the paradigm for information management in construction projects of any scale and subject. Its impact on the industry is becoming more and more noticeable and its effect is more evident in the growing demand for specialists who can manage these changes. The convergence towards the adoption of BIM processes as mandatory in public tenders is already a reality in several countries of the so-called central and will be so short in most. In turn, this impact is defining new incumbencies, roles, and specialties to effectively manage BIM-based processes; for which it is necessary to make the decision to train properly, that is, oriented to their role within the processes of their specialty.

The modules of this training propose a comprehensive development both from the management of tools and from the theoretical conceptualization of processes based on OpenBIM1 methodologies. In this sense, special emphasis is placed on detailing how the different processes of a BIM-based project require the intervention of different technologies that expand and improve collaborative processes within an interoperability framework.
