The Environmental Engineering Course understands that the undergraduate student's training begins when they enter the Academy and continues permanently during the course and afterwards. This professional must be in line with the principles proposed for education in the 21st century: learning to know, learning to do, learning to live together and learning to be.

Goals

The Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering should provide conditions for the Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering to be able to understand the scientific, technical, social and economic issues of production and its management as a whole, aiming at sustainable development.

Skills and competences

The Environmental Engineer training aims to provide the professional with the knowledge required to exercise the following general skills and abilities:

  1. Apply mathematical, scientific, technological and instrumental knowledge to engineering;
  2. Design and conduct experiments and interpret results;
  3. Conceiving, designing and analyzing systems, products and processes;
  4. Plan, supervise, prepare and coordinate engineering projects and services;
  5. Identify, formulate and solve engineering problems;
  6. Develop and/or use new tools and techniques;
  7. Supervise the operation and maintenance of systems;
  8. Critically evaluate the operation and maintenance of systems;
  9. Communicate efficiently in written, oral and graphic forms;
  10. Working in multidisciplinary teams;
  11. Understand and apply professional ethics and responsibility;
  12. Evaluate the impact of engineering activities in the social and environmental context;
  13. Evaluate the economic viability of engineering projects;

The modality of entry via ENEM applies to all undergraduate courses, on-site or at a distance. The modality of access via ENEM will include candidates who want to use their score from one of the last 4 ENEM exams applied. The candidate must inform the year the ENEM was taken and the grade obtained in the essay, which will be automatically validated by the system.

Online Tests

The modality of admission via online test is available for all undergraduate courses offered, both on-site and at a distance. The Online Test is composed of a writing test to be carried out online that aims to assess the mastery of the written expression skill in its various aspects and consists of a text interpretation or dissertation and will have a classifying and eliminatory character.

Scheduled Tests

The modality of admission via scheduled test applies to all undergraduate courses, on-site or distance learning. The Scheduled Test is composed of a writing test to be carried out on a date previously chosen by the candidate, which aims to assess the mastery of the written expression skill in its various aspects and consists of an interpretation of a text or dissertation and will have a classifying and eliminatory character.

Traditional Vestibular

The modality of entry via traditional test applies to all undergraduate courses, whether on-site or at a distance. The Traditional Test consists of an objective test with 30 multiple-choice questions and an essay, which aims to assess the mastery of the written expression skill in its various aspects and consists of an interpretation of a text or dissertation and will have a classifying and eliminatory character.
