Introduction
Bachelor of Business Analysis
This qualification will not be available for new enrolments for new students after 2017. See the new 2018 equivalent of the Bachelor of Business Analysis.
Interested in analysing data to help make better decisions for New Zealand business and the economy? This specialist three-year degree will equip you with sought-after skills in financial and economic analysis, to prepare for professional careers in the financial, business and government sectors.
The Bachelor of Business Analysis (BBA) will open the door to career pathways in accounting, economics, investment banking, stock broking, financial planning, and much more.
You could end up advising companies on how to increase their profits and reduce exposure to financial risk; or help private clients to grow their investment portfolios. Or you could become a policy advisor, helping government departments to make better decisions for the economy, jobs, housing or public transport.
With this three-year degree, you'll gain advanced skills in financial and economic analysis, learn how markets and economies operate, and develop a solid understanding of the commercial business environment.
By taking specific papers, you can use the BBA degree to accelerate your pathway towards becoming a Chartered Accountant.
