Urshan is honoured to serve the needs of Apostolic students who are seeking higher professional music degrees. The Bachelor of Music was created to prepare students for graduate studies while simultaneously developing church music skills. This degree is best suited for students with prior traditional music training and will provide opportunities to:
Achieve musical excellence while maintaining Apostolic identity;
Develop aural and visual music skills for comprehension and accuracy in performance;
Gain knowledge and skills to rehearse and present accomplished solo and ensemble performances;
Understand diverse musical genres and styles;
Apply research and writing skills to musical topics.
The Bachelor of Music prepares its graduates to be admitted to graduate studies in music or related fields and ultimately be employed in their specialized music field. This degree will continue to contribute to educating, equipping, and empowering the graduate for life and servant-leadership by aiding in:
