Introduction
DESCRIPTION
Archeology, through the systematic Studies of Material Culture, tries to reconstruct past social phenomena, incorporating methods and techniques designed for recording data that allow for a global vision of ancient societies.
OBJECTIVE
- Train social scientists.
- Provide an intellectual space for critical and creative reflection on human problems.
- Introduce the knowledge of the great authors, train in the analysis of the problems of the contemporary world
- Provide the necessary tools that allow the systematic study of material culture.
- Give a solid theoretical and methodological training that allows them to enter the field of basic or central research in the field of work.
INCOME REQUIREMENTS
- Completed high school studies.
- Pass the entrance exam.
- Cover registration requirements.
PERMANENCE PROFILE
The student must cover 372 credits of the educational program, which may be taken for semester periods as follows:
- 1. Minimum Load: Ten periods of 37 Credits. (Six and a half years of Permanence).
- 2. Standard Load: Seven periods of 50 Credits. (Four years of Permanence).
- 3. Maximum Load: Five Periods of 74 Credits. (Three years of Permanence).
Note: The number of credits established per load is an average reference.
The educational experiences of Basic Computing, English I and II and Reading and writing, may be accredited by presenting a skills test, Reports at (http://www. UV .mx/dgda/afbg/estudiantes/presentacion.html). The accreditation of the other courses depends on what is provided and approved in the current study plan and adjustments approved in the academies by area of knowledge. The Social Service and Reception Experience may be taken once 70% of the credits of the study plan have been obtained. It is necessary to comply with the requirements indicated in the 2008 Student Statute. Articles 74, 75, 76 and 77 refer to Social Service and articles 78, 79, 80, 81 and 82 to Reception Experience.
