IACC Professional Institute

Introduction

Instituto Profesional IACC was born as an educational project on March 23, 1981, under the figure of the Technical Training Center (CFT) IACC, being for the time, the first private higher education center in Chile, specialized in training higher-level technicians for the world of communications, beginning his educational work with the technical careers of Audiovisual Communication and Advertising.

By 1987, the CFT IACC obtained official recognition from the Ministry of Education of Chile (MINEDUC) and with it, the power to grant academic degrees, becoming the IACC Professional Institute.

As a result of its trajectory as an educational institution, IACC managed to consolidate its educational project and its training work in March 2006 through Decree 226, when it was granted Institutional Autonomy by the Ministry of Education of Chile, a faculty that allows it to grant professional titles that do not require a bachelor's degree, and higher-level technical titles as well as the corresponding degrees independently, which includes the academic, economic, and administrative autonomy of the institution.

As of 2008, IACC decides to incorporate careers in a completely online modality for the general public into its academic offerings. With this, it becomes the first and only Professional Institute in Chile 100% online and one of the pioneers in investing efforts in the development of the modality in our country, responding to the motivations and needs that students face throughout their Laboral life.

In 2019, IACC achieves Institutional Accreditation granted by the National Accreditation Commission (CNA).

Today IACC Professional Institute has more than 20 thousand students and more than 8 thousand graduates, who are connected to this innovative way of learning from Arica to Punta Arenas, including Easter Island.
